窯元 三助焼と共同で作り上げた急須と湯飲みのプロダクトデザイン。
三助焼は美しい散居村の広がる富山県砺波地方に位置する窯元で、その歴史は150年以上にも及びます。
この急須と湯飲みもその三助焼伝統の形状や色を継承しつつ、現代の生活に馴染むデザインにまとめ、職人の方がろくろを何度も挽くことで検討を重ね、形状を探っていきました。
Kiln Gen. The product design of a teapot and teacup created in collaboration with Sansuke Ware.
Sansuke Ware is a kiln located in the Tonami region of Toyama Prefecture, where beautiful scattered villages spread, and its history spans more than 150 years.
While inheriting the shape and color of the Sansuke-yaki tradition, this teapot and teacup were also compiled into a design that blends in with modern life.
The craftsmen repeatedly examined and explored the shape by working the potter’s wheel many times.
