What is a seasonal appliance that doesn’t seem “intrusive” throughout the year?

If it can be used anywhere, stored anywhere, and used regardless of the season, it could transcend being seen as an intrusive seasonal appliance.

We designed a compact ceramic heater : as a heater to warm spaces like bathrooms and changing rooms during the cold winter months, and as a fan to provide cool air during the hot summer months. This 2-way appliance can be used either placed directly on the floor or hung on the wall. Its softly rounded design embodies KAMOME’s concept of “cherished appliances.”

With the product concept of “usable all year round,” we focused on portability, wall-mountability, and space efficiency when designing the internal structure. At 83Design, we were involved in the project from its early stages, considering everything from the exterior design to the product specifications.
